If you want to lose weight fast, you want to do so safely, carefully and permanently. There are plenty of ads hyping the latest fad diets and their miraculous effects . Please don’t fall into this trap.
Weight is lost by two different main methods. Either you reduce your calorie intake to less than what you are burning off, or you increase the amount of calories that you are burning by exercising to more calories than you take in. The math equation is very simple, but dieting can be hard work. Especially if you have a sweet tooth or are just used to eating whatever you desire.
Some of the considerations you should think about are:
Set a clear weight loss goal and Follow it
You cannot reach what you cannot see. If you set a goal of losing 22 pounds in the next 6 months, you will have a target and will be able to break down that goal into smaller “bites.” Without a goal, it’ll never work out
Never turn to starvation or fasting diets -
Your body is like a machine that takes fuel to run efficiently. If you do not feed the machine properly, it will actually slow down your metabolism and hurt your weight loss plan. Rather than stop eating, eat smaller portion of meals in more frequently. That way, your body will consistently burn calories, rather than have giant swings.
Eat a balanced diet of natural foods esp fruits. Stay away from fast or processed food as much as possible.
Never ever think of a diet as something you’re on. Think of it as a whole new, healthy lifestyle.
